If you know anything about San Diego, you probably know that the weather is always great, and that it happens to be the craft beer capital of the world. It seems like a new brewery opens every weekend; you could spend weeks going and trying all of the different craft brews around the city (and we certainly try to!).
Within the craft beer scene, Bottlecraft is one of our favorite local finds. With two locations in North Park and Little Italy (two of my favorite spots in town), the store is filled to the brim with bottled beers from near and far. At the North Park location, you can grab a bottle and pair it with some fresh cheese straight from the Venissimo shop nestled in the back of the store, or grab some of their ready-to-go picnic goods and take it on the road. Or, if you want more of a bar vibe, try out the Little Italy location. Bring a sandwich and kick back with their rotating draft list or chilled bottles. If you’re sitting at the window, you also get to watch the planes come in for landing overhead. No matter which location, Bottlecraft is definitely one of SD’s best beer spots and should be high on your list to visit!
