Happy Monday! And how amazing are these Printed Palette pieces?! I was so happy to get the opportunity to style these and bring them into my own home decor. I think they are so fun and perfect for summer time. The graphics are incredible and work perfectly with my other decor.

Their little wooden painted box is one of my favorite pieces. I decided to turn it into a Moscow Mule bar box, so we can just bring everything out onto the balcony easily! All of The Printed Palette’s pieces are incredible, and definitely worth checking out.

How often do you find a wall painted mint green?! While we were exploring Catalina, I fell in love with this little spot and knew that we just HAD to take some pictures here. I adore this Free People top that I got recently because it’s the perfect piece for warm spring/summery days . It’s so fun to wear, too! It definitely called out for a flower crown, and this particular little beauty is one of my favs.

I’m also slightly obsessed with this sign by The Printed Palette. It’s already found a place in my home (which there will be a post on soon). I just adore the graphic and meaning behind the print. It’s perfect for this flower child!

If you want to see more of The Printed Palette’s goodies, make sure to check out their website here. I am so happy to say that the product shots Ell & I did last weekend have made it to their online  shop!! My Makers Arcade post has also been featured on their blog. I am one happy camper. Head on over to see!

Who knew that an hour boat ride could take you away to such a gorgeous island paradise? After 23 years of living in Southern California, I finally made it over to little Catalina this weekend for my mom’s birthday celebration. We had so much fun exploring the quaint town and laying in the sunshine. Floating in the ocean with a mojito in hand sounds too good to be true (but it  definitely happened).

Elliot & I also had some fun working on some styled shots for a collab with The Printed Palette (see here for more about this lovely SD company). How fun are these shirts?! They were perfect for the beach and wandering around Catalina. I still can’t even pick a favorite! If you love fun graphics, make sure to head over to their website to see more of their lovely goods. More to come soon on a little home decor collab I did with them as well!

Happy Friday! This week, I was lucky enough to visit the ultra-cool candy store, Sugarfina. I’m pretty sure the store was made just for me… Based in Beverly Hills, this candy store prepackages all of their goodies and sells them in adorable bento boxes. You can either fill the box yourself, or pick from one of their already-packaged boxes. They had boxes for weddings, thank you’s, congratulatory gifts, and even “will you be my bridesmaid” boxes! And, of course, they had coordinating Rifle Paper Co. cards to go along with every theme. What’s not to love?!

As a “welcome to blogging gift,” my momma got me the Cheers box set, which comes filled with cocktail inspired gummies, including champagne-infused bears, peach bellini hearts, and little nonpareil-covered champagne ‘bubbles’. If you don’t live near a Sugarfina and want to make your own cocktail bears at home, try these recipes!

Since it’s Friday, I figured what better way to celebrate than to make a champagne cocktail to go with these perfect treats? So I crafted up a little peach/champagne/vodka delight that’s sure to kick your weekend off with just the right bit of class and fun. The recipe can be made easily with peach flavored champagne, or if you’re looking for a little more ‘craft cocktail’ style, try regular champagne with peach puree or schnapps. If using peach champagne, eliminate the puree and simple syrup.

Peach Champagne Cocktail (serves 2)

2 oz. Vodka

2 oz. peach puree (or schnapps)

1 oz. Simple Syrup (optional)

12 oz. Champagne

Ice

Peach for garnish

Put vodka, peach puree, and simple syrup in shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain into two glasses. Top with champagne and peach for garnish.

As you may be able to guess by now, North Park is one of my favorite spots in SD. We visit at least once a weekend (okay, more like three times). Nestled within the urban grunge are some of the coolest bars, boutiques and cafes. If you’re ever in the area, you must at least stop by Pigment (my favorite store ever), Hess Brewing, and Hammond’s Ice Cream. And those are only a few of my fav places! Ray Street, one of my newest finds, is a small alley chockfull of galleries. This mural was tucked behind one of them, so it called out for a few pics. And can I just say how much I love San Diego weather??
